Hi, I’m Violet. I am currently studying biomedical science at The University of Sheffield in my second year, and tutor maths and biology, after achieving AAA in my A levels where I did Biology, Psychology and Geography.
I am passionate about tutoring these subjects, as I know how hard it can be to be to juggle such a large amount of content, and seeing my students improve brings such a feeling of pride. I have been tutoring for 3 years now, for students across all age groups and learning difficulties, and I aim to help every student to gain confidence and enjoyment from the subjects I tutor!
I run and play rugby at uni, which I believe has taught me patience and resilience, so if a student doesn’t understand straight away, I will try to explain in an alternative way to help the best I can.
